Emir of Qatar arrives in Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrived in Uzbekistan on a working visit.

At the international airport in Tashkent, President Mirziyoyev personally welcomed the high-ranking guest.

Reportedly, today, the two leaders will have high-level talks.

They will also participate in the official ceremony of presenting the International Anti-Corruption Excellence Award, founded on the initiative of the Emir of Qatar.
