Adverse weather conditions limit work of two airports in Uzbekistan
Due to thick fog, the arrival and departure of aircraft at Namangan and Fergana airports are temporarily suspended. Some flights were redirected to Tashkent.
Namangan and Fergana airports temporarily halted flights due to unfavorable weather conditions, the press service of Uzbekistan Airports reports.
The following flights are delayed in Namangan:
- XY-652 Namangan – Jeddah of Flynas airline;
- SU-1971 Namangan – Moscow of Aeroflot Airlines;
- WZ-1124 Makhachkala – Namangan – Makhachkala of RedWings Airlines;
- HY-9825 Namangan – Sochi of Uzbekistan Airways;
- HY-9858 Ufa – Namangan of Uzbekistan Airways (redirected to Tashkent);
- 5P-5382 Medina – Namangan of Panorama Airways (redirected to Tashkent).
- Flight 5P-5381 Namangan – Medina will be operated from Tashkent (passengers will be delivered by ground transport);
- J-663 Kuwait – Namangan of Jazeera Airways (redirected to Tashkent, passengers will be transported to Namangan by ground transport).
The following flights are delayed at Fergana Airport:
- UT789 Moscow – Fergana of Utair airline (redirected to an alternate airfield in Tashkent. Return flight UT-790 Fergana – Moscow is awaiting departure);
- S76323 Irkutsk – Fergana – Irkutsk S7 Airlines (departure from Irkutsk has been rescheduled to December 22 at 18:00 Tashkent time).
