Takhtakoracha Pass temporarily closed for traffic
This was caused by heavy snowfall on the pass.

The part of the M-39 international highway, connecting Kashkadarya and Samarkand regions, is temporarily closed for traffic.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the reason for temporarily closing the Pass was heavy snowfall.
“Currently, experts of the relevant organizations under the leadership of the MES are carrying out extensive preventive work to eliminate the consequences of the situation,” the MES said.
The ministry said they will provide additional information on the situation.
