Abdurashid Juraboyev becomes new chairman of MTRK

The head of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Abdurashid Juraboyev, was appointed the new chairman of the MTRK. He replaced Alisher Khodjayev in this position.

Previously, he worked as Chairman of the Committee on ICT under the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, head of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat for Youth Policy, Culture, Spirituality, Mass Media, Creative and Public Organizations, since September 2019 – as a deputy adviser to the president on youth, science, education, health, culture and sports issues. In February 2023, he was appointed to the position of the head of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.

Earlier, it was reported that Alisher Khodjayev, who has been in charge of MTRK since 2005 (with an eight-month break in 2017), resigned.
