During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation and strategic partnership relations.
The sides noted that in recent years, bilateral interaction has been developing at a dynamic pace, covering all areas, and mutual trust and friendly relations between the leaders of the two states are a solid basis for this.
The Indian official stressed that his government pays great attention to the active development of multifaceted cooperation with Uzbekistan. He expressed confidence that the promising partnership between the two countries will rise to a qualitatively higher level.
Following the talks, Anshuman Gaur wished the ambassador success in his responsible activities for the consistent development of bilateral cooperation.
Sardor Rustambaev arrived in Delhi on January 25. He replaced Dilshod Akhatov, who headed the diplomatic mission in Delhi from 2020 to 2023 and was appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Germany in September 2023.
