Law enforcement officers detain a man who tried to sell historic coins for $5,000 in Khorezm
The man tried to sell three coins dating back to the "Khanate of Khiva" and the "Emirate of Bukhara."
On February 13 of this year, a resident of the Urgench district, Q.B., was detained by law enforcement officers while trying to sell two coins from the period of the "Khanate of Khiva" and one from the "Emirate of Bukhara" era. He asked for $5,000 for the coins.
Reportedly, during a search of the suspect's residence, conducted with the participation of impartial witnesses, it was confirmed that he had been storing ancient artifacts, which were duly documented.
Investigative actions preliminary to the trial are currently underway regarding this case.
