On February 24, 2024, three new modern trains with four cars were delivered to the Tashkent metro, the metropolitan press service reported.
It is reported that the new trains will be tested for 8-10 days according to the guidelines, and then they will start serving passengers.
In order to further reduce the time intervals on the routes, new traffic structures will be put into operation mainly on the "Yunusabad" and "Aboveground Ring Road" routes.
It is noted that it is planned to bring 8 more metro trains gradually until the end of May. As a result of these works, it is aimed to renew the metro car parks and achieve a further reduction of the specified time intervals.
