Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon hosts Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov in Dushanbe
Today, on March 11, in Dushanbe, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, welcomed the delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov.
At the meeting, President Rahmon highlighted the importance of the Uzbek delegation's visit to Dushanbe in terms of defining future collaboration prospects and noted the rapid development of friendly relations between the two nations in recent years.
Abdulla Aripov emphasized that the open and trustworthy dialogue between the leaders of the two states is a critical factor in strengthening good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance between the countries.
It was also noted that the adoption of the historic document at the high-level meeting in Uzbekistan in June 2022 – the Declaration on Strengthening Eternal Friendship and Alliance, along with other significant agreements – fully responds to the interests of the two fraternal peoples.
The parties paid special attention to the necessity of ensuring the execution of tasks for the consistent realization of new projects in the trade-economic, investment, energy, transport-logistics, agricultural, and other sectors.
