Uzbekistan taekwondo WT national team bags licenses for Summer Olympic Games in Paris
Yesterday in Taian (China), the licensed taekwondo WT tournament started on the way to Paris 2024 for the Asian region. Two representatives of the Uzbekistan national team, Ozoda Sobirjonova and Jasur Jaysunov, won tickets to the 2024 Olympics.
Representative of the Uzbekistan taekwondo team WT Ozoda Sobirjonova, who competed in the weight category up to 67 kg, won a license for the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024. In the fight for a ticket, our compatriot overcame Thi Bac from Vietnam.
Also, as part of a licensed tournament in China, our athlete Jasur Jaysunov, competing in the weight category up to 80 kg, won a ticket to the main competitions of the four-year anniversary in Paris. In the decisive match, Jaisunov defeated Saif Tahir from Iraq.
Thus, the whole Uzbekistan taekwondo WT team will go to the Summer Olympic Games Paris 2024.
