Uzbekistan’s new ambassador presents his credentials to King of Malaysia
The ceremony took place at the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur.
On March 20, the new Ambassador of Uzbekistan Karomiddin Gadoyev presented his credentials to the King of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim.
During the conversation that took place after the official ceremony, the state and prospects for further development of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia were discussed.
The King of Malaysia expressed his respect and sincere wishes to the President of Uzbekistan, wished the leadership and people of the country all the best, peace, development and prosperity.
Uzbekistan is perceived in Malaysia as a reliable, brotherly country, and the current warm and friendly relations with the republic are highly valued.
It was also noted that the two countries are brought together by historical ties, common religion and spiritual values. It is highly appreciated that the dialogue at the highest level has been gaining momentum in recent years. It was hoped that in the future bilateral relations will expand in all areas.
At the end of the conversation, the King of Malaysia wished the Ambassador success in strengthening bilateral relations.
It should be recalled that Karomiddin Gadoyev arrived in Kuala Lumpur on November 30, 2023. Prior to that, he worked as deputy head of the department for cooperation with the UN and other international political organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
