Consulate General of Uzbekistan discusses cooperation prospects with Zhejiang province of China

Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held a meeting with Gao Yan, the Deputy Chair of the Committee for the Promotion of International Trade of China’s Zhejiang province.

The meeting highlighted a significant increase in the scale of direct trade and investment cooperation between the territories of the two countries. The Chinese representative expressed the committee's readiness to fully support the implementation of agreements in this direction.

The parties discussed key points concerning international and joint event organization, as well as exchanges of interregional delegations.

The committee members were also provided with detailed information on the economic and tourism potential and opportunities of Uzbekistan.

Zhejiang province, located in eastern China, is among the country's leaders in economic potential. Its administrative capital, Hangzhou, hosted the Asian and Para Asian Games in 2023.
