Uzbekistan and Hungary expanding interparliamentary cooperation
Ambassador of Uzbekistan Oybek Shakhavdinov met with Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, co-chairman of the Hungary-Uzbekistan interparliamentary friendship group Sandor Lezsak.
During the negotiations, the Hungarian side highly appreciated the increased dynamics of practical cooperation between the two countries in all areas. It is noted that this is facilitated by regular contacts at various levels.
In this context, Sandor Lezsak expressed his readiness to further strengthen interaction between the legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Hungary.
The deputy emphasized that cultural and humanitarian ties that bring peoples closer together also play a big role in deepening bilateral relations.
Agreements were reached on holding joint events in various fields.
It should be recalled that on March 26, Ambassador Oybek Shakhavdinov presented his credentials to the President of Hungary, Tamás Szuyok.
