Uzbekistan's automotive industry produced over 53,000 cars in first two months of 2024

The Statistics Agency has released data on passenger car production in Uzbekistan in January-February 2024.

According to preliminary data from the agency, over the first two months of the year, 53,367 passenger cars (excluding special passenger vehicles) were produced in the country.

The volume of production for certain types of industrial products in January-February 2024:

- Automotive gasoline – 241.1 thousand tons
- Coal – 659 thousand tons
- Oil – 118.5 thousand tons
- Gas condensate – 214.7 thousand tons
- Buses – 61 units
- Trucks – 466 units
- Car engines – 41,518 units
