Uzbekistan Airways launching direct flights between Nukus and Istanbul
Starting June 17, flights will be operated once a week on Mondays.

The national carrier Uzbekistan Airways is launching direct flights on the Nukus-Istanbul route, according to the press service of the Tourism Committee.
Direct flights between Nukus and Istanbul will be operated on Airbus A320 Neo aircraft once a week on Mondays. The launch of the first flight is scheduled for June 17. The flights will be operated by the low-cost carrier Uzbekistan Airways Express.
Flight schedule (local time):
Departure from Nukus at 10:35, arrival in Istanbul at 12:55;
Departure from Istanbul at 14:30, arrival in Nukus at 20:15.
At the time of publication, the price of a one-way ticket without luggage starts at 2.46 million UZS ($194.36 according to the Central Bank rate), and a return ticket starts at 2.34 million UZS ($185.21).
Also, Uzbekistan Airways will launch seasonal flights between Tashkent and Batumi starting May 29. Flights to the Georgian city will be operated twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday.
