Magnus Carlsen again accepts defeat from Nodirbek Abdusattorov
The grandmaster from Uzbekistan once again defeated the Norwegian chess player Magnus Carlsen at the Superbet Poland 2024 tournament in Poland.
At the Superbet Poland 2024 tournament, Nodirbek Abdusattorov defeated Magnus Carlsen. In the third round of the blitz game, Magnus Carlsen admitted defeat, losing the queen.
In the blitz game, Nodirbek Abdusattorov takes 4th place, scoring 4.5 points after 9 rounds, Carlsen scored 6 points and takes 2nd place, Chinese Wei Yi is in the lead with 7.5 points.
In the rapid tournament, Abdusattorov took 7th place.
The Superbet Poland 2024 tournament will end on May 12. The prize fund is $175,000.
It should be recalled that Nodirbek Abdusattorov also defeated world champion Magnus Carlsen in January 2023.
