Young man sentenced to 15-day administrative arrest for violating road safety rules in Kokand
It turned out that the citizens were traveling as part of a wedding cortege. The driver of the car, who did not have a license, also received a punishment in the form of administrative arrest.
Earlier, a video circulated on social networks in which a Lacetti passenger popped out of the car’s sunroof and scattered money.
According to the Fergana regional DIA, the incident occurred in the city of Kokand. It turned out that the driver of the Lacetti was traveling as part of a wedding procession. While driving, a car passenger popped his body out of the sunroof, scattered counterfeit money and thereby obstructed the movement of other cars on the road.
It was also established that the driver of the Lacetti did not have a driver’s license.
According to the court decision, the driver was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest, and the passenger who scattered the money – to 15 days.
“It was my brother’s wedding. While the car was moving, I popped out of the sunroof and scattered the money. I regret what I did,” the young man said.
