Erdoğan awards President Mirziyoyev the “Order of the Turkish Republic”
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev was awarded the “Order of the Turkish Republic”. The highest state award of this country was presented in Ankara on June 6 by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
“It is a great honor for me to receive such a high award from the Republic of Turkey on the day of signing the Declaration on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our countries,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
“This award is a symbol of thousands of years of fraternal ties between our peoples, confidential dialogue at the highest level, as well as rapidly developing multifaceted bilateral relations,” he noted.
This order is awarded to government officials who have made a great contribution to the development of friendly relations with Turkey.
In November 2022, in Samarkand, Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the Order of Imam Bukhari of the highest degree. This order is awarded to ulema (experts in Islam), researchers, writers, as well as heads of state and government for their services in the development of science and enlightenment, the study and broad promotion of the heritage of thinkers of the Islamic world.
