US Trade Representative Katherine Tai to visit Uzbekistan
During her visit to Uzbekistan on June 11-12, US Trade Representative Katherine Tai will meet with the country’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President’s First Assistant Saida Mirziyoyeva.

In addition, Tai will hold meetings with Deputy PM Jamshid Khodjayev, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov and Minister of Employment and Poverty Reduction Behzod Musayev.
On June 12, Tai will visit Samarkand. She will meet with the Samarkand regional governor, Erkin Turdimov, and will also inspect cultural monuments and major historical sites.
On June 13, Ambassador Katherine Tai will travel to Astana. She will chair a meeting of the US-Central Asia Trade and Investment Agreement Council with officials from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
