Guangzhou manufacturing firms eye closer economic links with Uzbekistan
Diplomats from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met with the President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou (CCPIT GZ), and Chairman of the Guangzhou Chamber of Commerce, Yang Yong.

During the meeting, the Chinese side was informed about the opportunities currently available in Uzbekistan in the economic and social spheres, improvements in the business environment, and the enhancement of the investment and export potential of local enterprises.
The Chinese side noted that manufacturing companies in Guangzhou are interested in expanding economic ties with Uzbek entrepreneurs.
Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding interregional cooperation and fully utilizing the existing opportunities of both sides, establishing cooperative links in the manufacturing industry, and using the potential for jointly created products in Uzbekistan to enter the markets of Central Asia, the CIS, and Europe.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a delegation of representatives from Guangzhou's business community to Uzbekistan.
CCPIT GZ is an organization that supports the activities of local companies and enterprises and protects their interests. Its members include manufacturing, trading, financial, legal, technological, tourism, and airline companies, as well as banks. Its main activities include protecting the business interests of its members, exchanging experiences, and organizing exhibitions and events.
