Uzbekistan sees a 13% increase in tourist arrivals in H1 2024

According to the Statistics Agency, over 3.5 million foreign nationals visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes from January to June 2024.

This figure represents an increase of 415,600 tourists, or 13.3%, compared to the same period last year.

The number of foreign nationals who visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in the first six months of 2024, broken down by country, is as follows:

• Kyrgyzstan – 1,057,400
• Tajikistan – 1,046,200
• Kazakhstan – 668,400
• Russia – 364,500
• Turkmenistan – 67,200
• Turkiye – 51,900
• China – 28,700
• India – 28,200
• South Korea – 19,600
• Italy – 17,700
• Other countries – 181,000
