Uzbekistan sees significant growth in outbound tourism, with Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan leading destinations
According to the Statistics Agency, in the period from January to July 2024, a total of 3.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism.
The figure increased by 890,500 people or 35.7% compared to the same period last year.
The number of Uzbek citizens who traveled abroad for tourism between January and July of this year by country:
Kyrgyzstan: 1.6 million
Tajikistan: 676,400
Kazakhstan: 526,400
Russia: 159,700
Turkey: 123,000
Saudi Arabia: 106,500
UAE: 70,600
Egypt: 22,200
Kuwait: 16,700
South Korea: 12,300
Other countries: 91,500
