Two university students in Syrdarya sentenced for attempting to steal 177 million UZS from ATM
In the Mirzaabad district of the Syrdarya region, two university students and one minor were caught attempting to break into ATMs with the intent to steal 177 million UZS.

During the attempted theft, two of them covered their faces with scarves and black t-shirts. They also wore black gloves.
Both fourth-year university students were found guilty under Article 169 of the Criminal Code (theft) by the Mirzaabad District Court. They were sentenced to four years in prison. The minor received a suspended sentence.
