Chinese company begins construction of solar power plant in Tashkent region
In the Buka district of Tashkent region, construction has begun on a solar photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 263 MW.
The $150 million project is being implemented by the Chinese company China DaTang Overseas Investment, according to the regional administration’s press service.
It is noted that Chinese investors plan to build the solar photovoltaic power plant as well as power transmission lines over an area of 621 hectares.
The district mayor, Bakhtiyor Begmatov, along with representatives from the Chinese company, reviewed the progress of the joint project in the "Buka" neighborhood.
