Uzsuvtaminot refutes water as source of schoolchildren poisoning in Almalyk
The spokesperson for "Uzsuvtaminot," Akmal Murodov, refuted claims that water was the cause of the poisoning of 12 schoolchildren in Almalyk.
He noted that during a survey of local residents, no complaints or grievances regarding the drinking water were reported.
A joint inspection conducted by the Ministry of Health and the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee of the Tashkent region confirmed that the water met all necessary standards.
"This means that the poisoning of the schoolchildren is not related to the drinking water," Murodov emphasized.
