Uzbekistan and Latvia to strengthen ties in transportation, IT, trade, and investments
In a productive meeting held in New York, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, engaged in discussions with his Latvian counterpart, Edgars Rinkēvičs. The meeting focused on key areas of mutual interest, including transportation connectivity, logistics, IT and digital technologies, trade, and investment.

In a post on his Telegram channel, Minister Saidov expressed his appreciation for the talks, stating, “We had a productive meeting with His Excellency Edgars Rinkēvičs, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia. We highly value the opening of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency office in Tashkent.”
The discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening bilateral relations through enhanced collaboration in various sectors, aiming to foster economic growth and connectivity between Uzbekistan and Latvia.
