Qatar’s Dynasty Jet plans to establish office in Uzbekistan, strengthening bilateral trade
Dynasty Jet, a Qatari airline specializing in business charters, is set to open a representative office in Uzbekistan, as announced by the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade (MIIT). This development comes amid a strengthening of trade relations between the two countries.
On October 17, Laziz Kudratov, the Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, the first deputy chairman of the Qatari Chamber of Commerce and Industry, held a roundtable discussion with representatives from over 40 major companies. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for collaboration in various sectors, including agriculture, food production, textiles, mining, metallurgy, energy, petrochemicals, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, transportation, logistics, and the privatization of state assets. Participants noted the “huge untapped potential” for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Qatar.

As a result of the negotiations, Uzbek companies Millmax Trading and Turan signed contracts with Qatari firms Mai Trading and High Com Global Trading for the export of agricultural and food products.

The Qatari side expressed its readiness to engage in active bilateral projects, while MIIT affirmed its commitment to providing support at every stage of implementing new initiatives.
