Uzbekistan introduces real-time fuel and gas station tracking app
The Ministry of Energy has introduced a new mobile application, “Avto24,” designed to streamline access to information about fuel, gas, and charging stations across the country. The app allows users to locate nearby stations, compare fuel prices, and check real-time availability. It also identifies charging points for electric vehicles.
The app, now in its test phase, is available for free download on Android and iOS platforms. It was developed by the Ministry of Energy in collaboration with Hududgazta'minot JSC.
Features of “Avto24”
- Displays the nearest fuel, compressed or liquefied gas, and electric vehicle charging stations.
- Provides real-time updates on fuel prices and stock availability.
- Enables users to plan routes and manage travel time efficiently.
- Offers rating and review options for stations, allowing consumers to share feedback on fuel quality and pricing.
The app is expected to address issues faced by drivers, particularly during the colder months, when locating fuel and gas stations often proves challenging.
Additionally, Hududgazta'minot JSC has launched another mobile app, “Hudud Gaz Ta'minot,” to monitor natural gas consumption and expenses online. This app allows users to:
- Track daily and monthly gas usage.
- Pay bills for natural gas and refill accounts for liquefied gas cylinders.
- Access a personalized account using OneID.
The introduction of these digital tools is part of Uzbekistan’s broader effort to enhance public convenience and improve infrastructure transparency.
Earlier this year, the “HET Billing Mobile” app was also launched by “Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari” (Regional Power Grids) JSC to enable users to manage electricity bills efficiently.
