Uzbekistan Railways denies reports of a tender for 40 high-speed trains
Uzbekistan Railways has officially refuted reports regarding a tender for the procurement of 40 high-speed trains.

“The sources circulating this information are relying on outdated data. In fact, the tender announcement in question was published several years ago and is no longer relevant,” stated the company via its official Telegram channel.
The company further clarified that no tenders are currently being conducted by Uzbekistan Railways.
Earlier, reports of the tender were attributed to Fazil Sharipov, head of the "Uzrailpass" department, and were shared on LinkedIn by Mahmudjon Tahirov, a leading transport research specialist at the Ministry of Transport. However, the LinkedIn post was subsequently deleted.
