Asrorjon Askarov appointed Acting Chairman of Regional Electric Networks JSC

Asrorjon Askarov has been appointed Acting Chairman of the Regional Electric Networks JSC. The previous head of the joint-stock company, Ulugbek Mustafoyev, was recently appointed Acting Governor of the Jizzakh region.

Prior to the appointment, Askarov held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Board for Economics at the Regional Electric Networks (Hududiy Elektr Tarmoqlari) JSC.

Asrorjon Askarov was born in 1978. He graduated from Fergana Polytechnic Institute in 2001, Tashkent State University of Economics in 2008, and the Academy of Public Administration in 2009.

Ulugbek Mustafoyev, who had been managing the Regional Electric Networks since 2019, was appointed Acting Governor of the Jizzakh region on December 19.
