International University of Turkic States to be established in Tashkent
The educational programs will be based on curricula from top universities in Turkiye, with the relevant decree signed by the President.

According to the decree, the "International University of Turkic States" will be founded in Tashkent as a private higher education institution. Education at the university will be provided on a tuition-based contract system. The university will determine its admission requirements and tuition fees independently.
The main areas of the university's activities will include:
- Training highly qualified specialists in line with international standards in fields such as engineering, construction, logistics, information technology and programming, healthcare, agriculture, food industry, as well as economics and social sciences;
- Implementing educational programs in collaboration with foreign institutions, particularly leading universities in Turkiye, and developing joint academic programs and conducting scientific research.
Starting from the 2025/2026 academic year, the university will adopt curricula from Turkish higher education institutions ranked among the top 1000 globally and recognized as leaders in their fields.
