On February 11, the Uzbekistan Women Scientists' Forum marked the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. Saida Mirziyoyeva shared this on her Telegram channel.
"I am proud that supporting women in the field of science is a priority in our country," wrote Saida Mirziyoyeva.
It was noted that women make up 48% of scientists in Uzbekistan.
"Their research, discoveries, and dedication are inspiring and demonstrate that science needs them just as much as they need science. Together with the international community, we are working towards building a future where science serves peace and prosperity," said the presidential aide.
