Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets with OTS Council of Elders Chairman Binali Yıldırım

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Binali Yıldırım, Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and former Prime Minister of Türkiye, during his visit to Uzbekistan on February 18 for urban development events.

Yıldırım conveyed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s greetings to the Uzbek leader.
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration within the OTS framework, with an emphasis on implementing programs and initiatives from OTS summits.
The Turkic World Urban Planning Congress, organized by Türkiye’s Engineers and Architects Association, saw active participation from Samarkand and Navoi administrations.
Separately, the OTS's Turkic Investment Fund capital is set to increase to $600 million to support SMEs, infrastructure, and trade projects.
