Shavkat Mirziyoyev meets Tony Blair to discuss economic and technological reforms
On April 10, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Chair of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Tony Blair.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change.
Key areas of partnership identified during the talks included attracting major strategic investors to key sectors of the economy, supporting technological modernization, accelerating digitalization and the integration of artificial intelligence, as well as implementing joint programs and projects in priority areas.
For reference, the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change was established by Tony Blair in 2016 as an international non-profit organization. The institute supports countries in developing new models of sustainable and innovative growth, addressing climate change, and tackling other pressing global challenges.
