Over 455,000 students graduated from high school in Uzbekistan this year
According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, a total of 455,200 students graduated from grade 11 of general secondary education institutions across all forms of ownership in Uzbekistan during the 2024/2025 academic year.
Of this total, 243,100 were female students.
Compared to the 2023/2024 academic year, the number of 11th-grade graduates increased by 49,200 students, or 12.1%.
The number of 11th-grade graduates by region in 2025 is as follows:
- Republic of Karakalpakstan – 25,987
- Andijan region – 39,598
- Bukhara region – 23,619
- Jizzakh region – 18,367
- Kashkadarya region – 44,670
- Navoi region – 13,427
- Namangan region – 37,476
- Samarkand region – 51,875
- Surkhandarya region – 35,997
- Syrdarya region – 11,105
- Tashkent region – 35,764
- Fergana region – 47,068
- Khorezm region – 29,074
- Tashkent city – 41,132
