According to Uzhydromet's monthly report, the average temperature in June 2025 in Uzbekistan was 1–2 degrees above normal, and in Tashkent region, it was 2.2–2.5 degrees higher. Only the northwestern part of the country experienced temperatures close to climatic norms.
June 2025 ranked among the five warmest Junes ever recorded in the central and eastern regions of Uzbekistan.
For most of the month, daytime temperatures ranged between +33°C and +38°C. On the hottest days, temperatures reached +39°C to +41°C, and in the southern and desert regions, they climbed to +42°C to +44°C.
During short-lived cool spells, daytime temperatures dropped to +27°C to +30°C, and even in the far south, they did not exceed +32°C to +34°C. However, such cooler periods were brief, the report noted.

June was also classified as an extremely dry month. Rainfall was rare and light throughout most of the country. Monthly precipitation ranged from 0.0 mm to 5 mm, with some regions receiving 6–8 mm.
Only in Karakalpakstan (excluding the Ustyurt Plateau), certain parts of Khorezm and Fergana regions, and some mountainous areas were there 1–2 cases of localized downpours, with rainfall amounts between 9 mm and 31 mm.
These heavy rains triggered mudflows in the foothill and mountainous areas of Jizzakh, Surkhandarya, and the Fergana Valley regions.
In the foothill and mountainous zones, short-term showers were more frequent, with total monthly rainfall reaching 25–30 mm in some areas, and up to 45–55 mm in certain mountainous districts of Tashkent and Fergana regions.
Wind gusts of 15–20 m/s were reported in parts of the country, with speeds reaching 22 m/s in the Ustyurt Plateau. Dust storms, drifting snow, and dusty haze were also observed in some regions.
