UAE extradites three economic crime suspects to Uzbekistan
Three individuals wanted under international arrest warrants issued through Interpol channels have been extradited from the United Arab Emirates to Uzbekistan.
As a result of close cooperation and coordination between the national central bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Abu Dhabi, the suspects – accused of committing serious crimes – were extradited and handed over to Uzbekistan’s law enforcement authorities in accordance with established procedures.
Due to bilateral contacts developed through negotiations and meetings, and in line with international agreements and the commitment to combat transnational crime, the number of extradited individuals is on the rise.
The extradited suspects were wanted by Uzbek law enforcement on charges related to economic and property-related crimes committed in the country.
They will now be held criminally liable and brought before a court.
