Tashkent region to raise hot water and heating tariffs from September
On 18 August, members of the Tashkent Regional Council of People’s Deputies approved new tariffs for hot water and heating. The decision will take effect on 10 September 2025.

According to the resolution, tariffs for households will increase by 10%. For wholesale consumers, the hikes will vary: in Angren – 18%, in Almalyk – 8%, and in Chirchik – 23%. Wholesale subscribers of the regional enterprise Teplosnabzheniye will face a 95% rise in prices.
The last tariff revision took place on 1 February 2025. At that time, household tariffs increased by 15% in most cities of the region, and by 9% in Almalyk. For wholesale consumers, the rise ranged from 26% to 317%, except in Almalyk, where prices remained almost unchanged (up by just 0.2%).
