President Mirziyoyev confers new ranks on Prosecutor General, Interior Minister and Defense Minister
Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Yuldashev has been awarded the title of State Counselor of Justice, 2nd class. Interior Minister Aziz Toshpulatov and Defense Minister Shukhrat Kholmukhamedov were both promoted to the rank of lieutenant general.
According to relevant presidential decrees, several heads of law enforcement agencies have been granted new ranks.
Prosecutor General Nigmatilla Tulkhinovich Yuldashev received the special title of State Counselor of Justice, 2nd class.
Interior Minister Aziz Anvarovich Toshpulatov was awarded the special title of lieutenant general.
Defense Minister Shukhrat Gayratjonovich Kholmukhamedov received the military rank of lieutenant general.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev conferred the new titles in a solemn ceremony on August 27, on the eve of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s independence.
At the same event, Minister of Justice Akbar Jurabayevich Toshkulov was awarded the Order of Friendship.
