Visa-free regime between Uzbekistan and Jordan to take effect September 25
Citizens of Uzbekistan have been granted the right to enter Jordan without a visa and stay in the kingdom for up to 30 days.
Starting from September 25 this year, Uzbek citizens will be able to visit the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visa-free and remain there for up to 30 days, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It should be recalled that recently in Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held talks with King Abdullah II ibn al-Hussein of Jordan.
During the meeting, a number of bilateral cooperation documents were signed, including an agreement on introducing a visa-free regime.
The agreement will come into force on September 25.
Until now, Uzbek citizens were able to obtain Jordanian visas upon arrival.
With the introduction of the visa-free regime, Jordan will become the 36th country that Uzbek citizens can enter without a visa.
