Uzbekistan wins international sniper competition in South Korea
Uzbekistan’s sniper team has secured first place at the 2nd Korea International Sniper Competition, held from 8 to 15 September and organized by the Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command (ROK-SWC).
The tournament brought together 54 teams from 10 countries, with Uzbekistan emerging as the overall winner among 16 international squads representing the United States, Germany, Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Vietnam, Thailand, and Mongolia.
According to the final results, Uzbekistan topped the standings with 539.5 points, followed by Vietnam with 534.7 points and the United States with 519.0 points.
The Uzbek team, composed of servicemen from the Ministry of Defense, built on last year’s strong performance, when they finished second in the 2024 edition of the competition.
