Uzbekistan Airways to buy 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners in $8 billion deal
U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Uzbekistan Airways has signed a contract with Boeing valued at more than $8 billion. Under the agreement, the airline plans to purchase up to 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Trump shared the news on his Truth Social account, noting that he had earlier spoken with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev this month.
“Earlier this month, I spoke with the highly respected President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Today, I want to congratulate President Mirziyoyev on signing a GREAT deal with Boeing! Uzbekistan Airways is acquiring 22 Boeing 787 Dreamliners worth over $8 billion,” Trump said.
According to him, this will create more than 35,000 jobs in the United States.
“President Mirziyoyev is a man of his word, and we will continue working together on many other issues,” Trump wrote.
