Starting from November 1, 2025, students of state higher education institutions will be able to apply through the unified portal (my.gov.uz) to receive a partial reimbursement of their monthly rent payments.
Until now, students had to submit the required information and documents to the deputy dean, the faculty’s department for youth affairs, or the university’s housing coordination office.
It should be noted that the reimbursable amount is capped at no more than 1 BCU (base calculation unit) in Tashkent and no more than 0.5 BCU in other regions. This rule is outlined in the regulation approved by a government resolution on September 24, 2021.
