According to the agency’s press service, staff from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Vladivostok, together with representatives of Russia’s Migration Service, conducted a prompt investigation. The findings confirmed that there were no Uzbek nationals among the bus passengers.
Earlier, Russian media outlets had reported on a collision between a passenger bus owned by Yamata and a car, alleging that Uzbek citizens were among those on board.
In addition, this week another road accident involving Uzbek citizens occurred in Novosibirsk: one of the victims died, while the other remains in critical condition, with doctors fighting for his life.
