At Brussels International Airport, he was welcomed by the European Union Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais, and other officials.

On 24 October, President Mirziyoyev is scheduled to hold talks with the President of the European Council, António Costa, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, as well as meet with King Philippe of Belgium.

The president will also attend the signing ceremony of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union.

As part of the visit, a roundtable discussion with representatives of Europe’s leading companies and financial institutions is also planned.
