UNESCO expresses gratitude to Uzbekistan for successfully hosting the General Conference
The organization praised the efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan to ensure the full participation of all member states, associate members and observers.

UNESCO has expressed its gratitude to Uzbekistan for the high-level organization of the 43rd General Conference, held in Samarkand from 30 October to 13 November.
“We extend our deep gratitude to the people and Government of Uzbekistan for the warm reception, generous hospitality and all the measures taken to ensure that the work of the conference proceeded under the best possible conditions,” UNESCO said in its message.
UNESCO noted that it highly appreciates the efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan to ensure the full participation of all member states, associate members and observers.
“The organization expresses its sincere and profound appreciation to the people and Government of Uzbekistan, in particular to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, for the invaluable support, attention and personal involvement shown in hosting the General Conference. We express great thanks to all Uzbek services and staff whose outstanding dedication and professionalism ensured the uninterrupted and effective work of the session,” the message said.
The organization also emphasized that Uzbekistan’s cultural treasures – its ancient civilization and rich heritage – contributed significantly to strengthening the spirit of harmony among delegations.
In conclusion, UNESCO conveyed its friendship and respect to the people and Government of Uzbekistan and expressed confidence in the future of international cooperation with the organization.
