Tashkent to host drone show to mark State Flag Day
Tashkent city authorities have announced that a series of festive events, including a flag relay, a drone show and other activities, will take place on 18 November. Athletes and national pop stars are expected to take part.
According to the city administration’s press service, cultural and educational events will be held across Tashkent on 18 November to mark the day when the State Flag of Uzbekistan was adopted.
In particular:
- A ceremonial welcome for the flag relay with the participation of public figures, distinguished athletes and youth at the following locations:
- 14:00 – Bektemir district, Rohat checkpoint;
- 15:00 – Mirzo Ulugbek district, New Uzbekistan Park complex;
- 16:00 – Chilanzar district, Erkin checkpoint.
- A gala concert featuring Uzbek pop stars at Friendship of Peoples Square at 17:00.
- A drone show at Friendship of Peoples Square at 18:00.
Residents of the capital have been invited to actively take part in the upcoming celebrations.
