Google Gemini introduces Uzbek language support on its AI platform
Google has added Uzbek language support to its Gemini artificial intelligence platform, a step officials say will significantly boost the development of Uzbekistan’s digital technologies and AI ecosystem. The update will allow local specialists, entrepreneurs, and the wider public to use modern AI solutions in their native language.

According to the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the announcement was made during the panel session “Leadership in the age of artificial intelligence: strategy and innovation”, held in Tashkent. Marina Zhunich, Director for Public Policy and Government Affairs for Emerging Markets at Google, who took part in the discussions, confirmed that the Google Gemini platform now supports the Uzbek language.
Officials emphasized that this development marks an important milestone for Uzbekistan’s digital transformation, expanding access to AI tools for professionals and everyday users alike.
The event also featured broad discussions on Uzbekistan’s digital transformation efforts, global trends in artificial intelligence, and expanding international cooperation in the sector.
