President Mirziyoyev receives Russian delegation led by Denis Manturov
On 3 December, Shavkat Mirziyoyev received a Russian delegation headed by Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, who arrived in Uzbekistan to take part in the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission.
The meeting was also attended by the governors of Nizhny Novgorod and Omsk regions, as well as the heads of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Krasnoyarsk Krai, along with representatives of Russian companies.
Key topics of discussion included the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy, cooperation in education and science, and the expansion of regional partnerships.

The sides noted with satisfaction the steady growth in trade volumes and the progress of projects in industry, energy, transport, metallurgy, chemicals, and other sectors.

They underscored the importance of adopting coordinated measures to maintain trade momentum, accelerate cooperation projects in priority sectors – including within industrial zones – and continue active engagement at the regional and business levels.

During the meeting, executives of leading Russian companies also presented the president of Uzbekistan with concrete project plans in IT, energy, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, textiles, and food processing.
In addition, Denis Manturov met with Uzbekistan’s prime minister, Abdulla Aripov, to discuss a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral relations.
