President visits victims of gas cylinder explosion in Syrdarya

The explosion, which occurred on December 2, injured 29 people, including two pregnant women. Three of the victims later died in hospital. A criminal investigation has been launched into the incident.

During his visit, President Mirziyoyev spoke with patients and their relatives, inquiring about their treatment and the quality of medical care provided.

A representative of the hospital told the president that five patients were in serious condition and one in critical condition. Earlier, the Ministry of Health reported that one patient was on a ventilator, and five others in intensive care were in a stable but serious condition.
