Qatar may grant Golden Visas to medical specialists from Uzbekistan
Abdul Hadi Bakhit Burgan, Chief Executive Officer of the Qatari recruitment company Jusour, has arrived in Uzbekistan as part of an agreement signed between Jusour and the Migration Agency.
He met with Migration Agency Director Behzod Musayev to discuss measures to simplify the process of attracting workers from Uzbekistan to Qatar. During the meeting, it was noted that there is strong demand in Qatar for specialists in nursing, construction, IT, and telecommunications.
It was also emphasized that surgeons may be eligible to receive a Golden Visa. The parties additionally discussed integrating Qatar’s Tawzeef platform with the agency’s xorijdaish.uz platform.
According to the agency, in 2025 job announcements for openings at duty-free retail networks and Qatar Airways were published, and candidates’ résumés were uploaded to the Tawzeef platform. Employers have shortlisted candidates, who are currently in the interview stage.
